Bus Transfers To and From Albany International Airport

Upon arrival at Albany Airport, passengers will pick up their belongings at the Baggage Claim area on Level 1 of the terminal building.

Albany Airport provides several ground transportation services to passengers, including rental cars, taxis, rideshares, hotel shuttle services, and buses.

Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) Buses

CDTA serves Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga, Rensselaer, and Troy. No. 737 Bus has 47 stations departing from Albany Bus Terminal and ending in Albany International Airport.

The base fare starts at $1.50. Discounts apply to qualified passengers.

Arrive at the bus stop (located at the airport Lodging and Transportation Center) 2-3 minutes early to avoid missing the bus. CDTA No. 737 bus starts operating at 6:20 AM and ends at 5:10 PM. Please note that some schedules vary according to the day of the week or route direction.

Adirondack Trailways serves the entire Adirondack region, as well as the corridor between New York City and Montreal, Canada.

Vermont Translines serves Albany International Airport with daily arrivals and departures from popular Vermont destinations, including Bennington, Manchester, Rutland, and Burlington. JFK, Newark, LaGuardia Shuttle-Premiere Transportation.

Premiere Transportation offers daily shuttle service between Albany International Airport and three New York City area airports, including JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark.

The JFK-LaGuardia shuttle leaves Albany International Airport daily from the Commercial Lane at 9:30 a.m.

The Newark shuttle leaves Albany International Airport daily at 10:30 a.m. The return shuttle to Albany leaves JFK no later than 6:30 p.m. and LaGuardia no later than 7:15 p.m. The return shuttle from Newark leaves no later than 6:30 p.m.
